The Diplomat's Dashboard
The Space Diplomacy Newsletter-Announcement
In my welcome and about page, I had started off by saying The Space Diplomacy Newsletter will bring together four interlocking pillars – current events, country profiles, comparative rankings, and scholarly works and expert voices – to raise public awareness of space diplomacy in practice and to equip people with the knowledge to pursue collaborations across countries.
I want to thank all of you for joining me as one pillar, dubbed Events Tracker, got going on a weekly basis.
I am starting up another pillar, where I want to bridge the gap from academia to the real world by layering in scholarly works, resources, and expert voices into practitioner-focused insights.
I am dubbing this pillar The Diplomat’s Dashboard.
What strategies can space diplomacy professionals draw from the work of scholars?
The Diplomat’s Dashboard will distill scholarship into actionable insights for diplomats, policymakers, and practitioners in space affairs. My goal is to widen the informational lens, so that readers can anticipate challenges, spot opportunities, and rethink strategic options for solutions through dialogue. Each post will spotlight key academic works and expert voices to deepen and sharpen thinking on space diplomacy. I will then extract two or three takeaways to equip space diplomacy professionals with decision-ready guidance for engagement, advocacy, negotiations, and communication.
I will run this column 6-8 times a year and after the first few it will only be available to paying customers.
Thank you for being with me on this journey as I get this pillar up and running!
